Job summary

Experis Technology Group seeks a Senior PeopleSoft/Oracle DBA for a five-year assignment. The role is 100% remote with a 40-hour workweek from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. EST, and occasional extended hours by mutual agreement.

Responsibilities include managing Oracle databases in PeopleSoft environments, upgrading versions, applying patches, Data Guard operations, backups, performance tuning, scripting, cloning, and ad hoc reporting, plus coordination with Oracle support.

Qualifications

• 10+ years as Oracle DBA supporting PeopleSoft in enterprise environments.
• 2+ years with Oracle 19c in PeopleSoft/CRM/HCM settings.
• Experience with Exadata, Data Guard, multi-tenant or advanced compression.

Responsibilities

• Administer Oracle databases for PeopleSoft environments.
• Upgrade databases to new versions and apply patches quarterly.
• Perform switchover/failover to Data Guard and gap resolution.
• Backup and recoveries of databases and cloning of databases.
• Write and maintain scripts to support database systems.
• Provide ad hoc reporting and work with Oracle support as needed.
