Job summary

Technology Automation & Management (TeAM), Inc. is seeking a senior Oracle Specialist DBA to provide tier-3 support for enterprise Oracle databases, including Grid and RMAN, across federal environments.

You will lead design, implementation, patching, and DR planning, while ensuring data integrity and security. The ideal candidate brings 8+ years of Oracle DB experience, strong PL/SQL skills, and a track record of proactive incident management.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years' experience administering enterprise Oracle database environments.
• Strong experience with Oracle 12c/19c or current, Oracle Grid, and RMAN.
• Proficiency in PL/SQL development and scripting.
• Experience designing, implementing, and managing standalone and/or clustered Oracle databases for enterprise apps.
• Experience with patching, server maintenance, and upgrade execution in Oracle environments.
• Experience with HA/DR architectures and failover testing.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex Oracle database issues and perform root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Provide tier-3 troubleshooting, configuration, and routine/urgent support for Oracle Database environments, Grid, and RMAN.
• Manage and support Oracle database solutions including Data Guard, backup/recovery, patching, upgrades, and HA/DR implementations.
• Design and govern backup/restore strategies and conduct DR drills with PITR validation.
