Job summary

Leidos is seeking a seasoned Senior Network Transport Solution Engineer to drive technical planning, architecture, design, integration, validation, fielding, and sustainment of enterprise transport solutions. You will serve as a senior contributor, potentially leading projects, with responsibilities spanning requirements analysis, design, testing, and transition to operations.

Qualifications

• Must be a US citizen with ability to obtain/maintain a Secret clearance.
• Extensive experience in enterprise routing, switching, LAN/WAN, data center networking, and transport architectures.
• Experience leading technical execution of complex network transport projects, with跨 technology areas.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical planning and execution of network transport projects, workstreams, modernization efforts, or technology refreshes.
• Coordinate engineering activities across sites, vendors, and infrastructure domains to manage dependencies.
• Provide technical direction, review engineering work products, and resolve issues affecting cost, schedule, performance, or security.
• Ensure traceability of decisions and plans to approved requirements.
• Identify technical risks and develop practical mitigation strategies for leadership.
• Support development of engineering estimates, BOMs, schedules, and levels of effort.
• Mentor engineers through design reviews, troubleshooting, and knowledge sharing sessions.
• Analyze requirements for operational, technical, cybersecurity, performance, and interoperability factors.
• Translate requirements into system, subsystem, and interface requirements; document designs and test plans.
• Plan and perform laboratory validation, integration, and performance testing for solutions.
