Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Senior Network Engineer with a focus on Cloud Security to design, implement, and manage secure network architectures across AWS, Azure, and GCP in a fully remote role.

The role emphasizes threat monitoring, policy enforcement, and high availability of cloud services, with collaboration across DevOps and security teams to embed security into CI/CD and network designs. You will mentor junior staff and keep thorough network documentation up to date.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 7+ years of network engineering experience focused on cloud security.
• Proven ability to design and manage secure cloud networks.
• Familiarity with NIST / ISO 27001 and security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage secure cloud network infrastructure.
• Develop and enforce network security policies and procedures.
• Configure and manage security tools (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, WAFs).
• Monitor traffic for threats and respond to incidents.
• Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to secure CI/CD.
• Maintain network diagrams and documentation.
• Provide mentorship to junior staff.
