Placements24 is actively seeking a seasoned Remote Information Security Architect to design and implement secure cloud architectures across AWS, Azure, and GCP, while shaping security standards and risk management for distributed systems.

You will lead security reviews, collaborate with engineering and product teams, and drive security through IaC, container security, and automation to stay ahead of emerging threats on a global scale.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of information security experience with emphasis on security architecture and cloud security.
• Hands-on with major cloud platforms and their security services.
• Experience designing secure network architectures and IAM solutions in cloud environments.
• Expertise in threat modeling, risk assessment, and security architecture principles.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement secure cloud architectures and hybrid environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Define and enforce security standards, policies, and best practices for cloud deployments and infrastructure.
• Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments for new and existing systems and applications.
• Develop and maintain security reference architectures and patterns.
• Provide guidance on data protection, IAM, network security, and application security.
