Syms Strategic Group (SSG) seeks a Senior Software Systems Engineer (.Net Developer) to contribute high-quality, enterprise-grade solutions for the Veterans Affairs department.

This is a 100% U.S.-based remote position requiring five or more years of .Net experience, strong C#, MVC, RESTful APIs, and a focus on secure, scalable software.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, review code, implement CI/CD practices, and mentor junior developers to drive innovation.

Qualifications

• Five (5) or more years of experience with .Net technologies.
• Strong C# & .Net Framework/Core expertise.
• Experience with MVC architecture and RESTful APIs.
• Proficient in SQL Server and Entity Framework.
• Familiar with Azure and AWS cloud services.
• Experience with CI/CD and version control (Git/TFS).

Responsibilities

• Perform software planning, requirements definition, testing, and integration for software systems.
• Develop back-end services in .Net and deploy via CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with team; participate in daily stand-ups.
• Mentor junior developers and promote best practices.
• Interface with stakeholders to define project requirements.
