Job summary

Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation is seeking a Senior .NET/SQL Developer. You will design, develop, and support enterprise applications focusing on SQL Server, XML/XSD, and modern web tech.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, DevOps, and production support to deliver scalable, secure solutions. You will lead SQL/XML migrations, API integrations, and CI/CD pipelines, while ensuring security through Snyk and maintaining documentation.

Qualifications

• Advanced expertise in Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL for stored procedures and optimization.
• Hands-on experience with XML data types, XQuery/XPath, and XSD design/validation.
• Proven experience with C# and .NET Framework including WCF and ASP.NET Web API.
• Experience building modern web apps using Angular (v15+) and TypeScript.
• Strong knowledge of Git/GitHub, CI/CD, and Jira Agile delivery.
• Experience in Azure IaaS and release/change management.
• Knowledge of application security practices, including Snyk.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize T-SQL stored procedures for XML parsing and XSD validation.
• Lead XSD migration initiatives affecting WCF and Web API integrations.
• Develop Angular front-end features and .NET Web API/WCF back-end components.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical designs.
• Prepare change requests and validated deployment scripts for production.
• Partner with SRE/DevOps to build GitHub CI/CD pipelines and manage Azure patching.
• Remediate security vulnerabilities using Snyk and maintain dependencies.
• Create and maintain architecture, design, and operation documentation.
• Develop and run MSTest unit tests and support QA activities.
