Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior .NET Azure Developer to design, develop, and support scalable cloud-native applications on the Microsoft Azure stack. You will collaborate with architects, product owners, developers, QA, and business stakeholders to deliver secure, high-performing enterprise solutions.

The role emphasizes remote work within the United States, with flexibility to adapt to project needs while supporting work-life balance through Cognizant programs.

Qualifications

• 6 to 12 years of experience developing enterprise applications using C#, .NET Core, and ASP.NET Core Web API.
• Experience with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT and secure API integrations.
• Solid understanding of SOLID principles, OOP, design patterns, DI, and enterprise app architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Azure services including Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Functions, App Services, Storage, and Service Bus.
• Experience building REST APIs and microservices, with EF Core.
• Proficiency with Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD, and testing (xUnit/NUnit).
• Experience documenting APIs with Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using C#, .NET Core, and ASP.NET Core Web APIs.
• Build and support secure authentication and authorization solutions using OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and JWT.
• Develop cloud-native and microservices-based apps leveraging Azure Functions, Durable Functions, and App Services.
• Design and optimize data solutions using Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, and Azure Storage services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot, test, deploy, and improve applications via CI/CD and DevOps.
