Placements24 is seeking a Senior Molecular Biologist for a fully remote US-based role. The successful candidate will lead advanced molecular biology projects, design experiments, and collaborate with a global team.

PhD in molecular biology or related field with 5+ years postdoc/industry experience required. Strong data analysis, CRISPR experience a plus; excellent communication and independent work in a remote setting.

Qualifications

• PhD in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biochemistry, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years post-doctoral or industry experience in molecular biology.
• Proven ability to design, execute and analyze experiments.
• Hands-on with a wide range of molecular biology techniques and instrumentation.
• Proficient in data analysis software (R, GraphPad Prism) and basic bioinformatics.

Responsabilités

• Design and execute complex molecular biology experiments (PCR, qPCR, sequencing, cloning).
• Develop and optimize novel assays for research and diagnostics.
• Analyze large datasets with statistical and bioinformatics tools.
• Troubleshoot procedures and provide technical solutions.
• Contribute to writing research papers, grants, and reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentors for growth.
