Kard Financial, Inc. is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to design, build, and operate production ML systems that power personalization, recommendations, and decisioning.

You will own end-to-end ML lifecycle, collaborate with data scientists and software engineers, and help scale our ML platforms and tooling. Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software or ML engineering experience.
• Proven track record deploying ML systems in production.
• Strong fundamentals in system design, APIs, testing, and observability.
• Experience designing distributed data workflows and low-latency services.
• Fluency across ML lifecycle: data pipelines to training and monitoring.
• Ability to diagnose production issues across models, data, and infra.
• Demonstrated technical leadership and architecture decisions.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and mentorship.
• U.S. core business hours availability and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate end-to-end ML systems across batch and real-time workloads.
• Develop production capabilities for personalization, recommendations, ranking, and experimentation.
• Build reusable ML platforms, pipelines, and tooling to improve reproducibility and speed.
• Own the operational lifecycle of production models, including monitoring and retraining.
• Partner with ML practitioners to turn prototypes into maintainable systems.
• Provide technical leadership for ML architecture and distributed systems.
