Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• At least 10 years of experience designing and building data‑intensive solutions using distributed computing
• At least 7 years of experience programming in C, C++, Python, or Scala
• At least 4 years of experience with the full ML development lifecycle using modern technology in a business critical setting
• Experience deploying scalable AI solutions on major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus

Responsibilities

• Define and drive technical strategy and roadmap for the Personalization Platform powering real-time, personalized product experiences
• Partner with Product, Data science, Cloud infrastructure and ML platform teams to align on advanced recommendation systems
• Develop and maintain a flexible rules engine for personalized logic and real-time decisioning
• Design, build and maintain ML infrastructure and pipelines for feature extraction, model training, testing, guardrails, and deployment
• Architect low-latency, event-driven systems for real-time personalization and decisioning
• Advance MLOps with automated deployment workflows, validation, testing, and monitoring
• Introduce state‑of‑the‑art LLM optimization techniques to improve performance and cost
• Leverage Open Source and SaaS AI tools like AWS Ultraclusters, Huggingface, VectorDBs, Nemo Guardrails, PyTorch
