Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a Sr. Machine Learning Engineer to join our AIDR Engineering Team.

You will provide engineering support and solutions to a data science group focused on high-throughput, low-latency LLM inferencing. In conjunction with the other engineers and data scientists on the team, you will support LLM post-training, data engineering aligned to rigorous evaluations, and broadly supporting a mission that requires close engineering collaboration with applied data scientists.

Qualifications

• Experience in data engineering and architecture for advanced data science use cases.
• Deep understanding of LLM post-training methods and compute architectures.
• Understanding of scalability and distributed systems (sharding, partitioning, concurrency).
• Team player with a collaborative mindset.
• Strong engineering practices: testing, code reviews, resilient architecture.

Responsibilities

• Innovate with state-of-the-art ML tech to accelerate data science.
• Support fast-moving research and development teams.
• Build and maintain data pipelines and train/implement custom models.
• Provide in-depth analysis to identify vulnerabilities or gaps.
• Collaborate across teams to define and devise solutions.
• Own end-to-end development: design, test, deploy and monitor.
