• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mining Engineering with a specialization in Ventilation or a related field.
• 8-10 years of progressive experience in mine ventilation engineering, with a focus on underground mining.
• Proven expertise in mine ventilation system design, modeling, and analysis.
• Proficiency with mine ventilation modeling software.

Responsabilidades

• Design, analyze, and optimize mine ventilation systems for underground mining operations.
• Develop and maintain ventilation network models using specialized software (e.g., Ventsim, Surpac Vision).
• Conduct theoretical and practical assessments of mine airflow, heat transfer, and gas diffusion.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations related to mine ventilation.
• Develop strategies for dust control, fume management, and gas dilution in underground environments.
• Collaborate with site teams to troubleshoot ventilation issues and implement effective solutions.
• Prepare technical reports, specifications, and presentations on ventilation design and performance.
• Provide guidance on ventilation surveys, instrumentation, and data interpretation.
• Contribute to mine planning and design processes from a ventilation perspective.
• Mentor junior ventilation engineers and promote best practices in mine environmental control.
