Koniag IT Systems, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, seeks a Senior Microsoft Infrastructure Administrator to support Microsoft 365, Azure Government, Entra, and Endpoint security for a government client in Washington, DC. The role is remote and requires the ability to obtain a Public Trust.

Responsibilities include leading architecture, engineering, and governance across Microsoft platforms, ensuring FedRAMP-aligned security, and mentoring junior staff. Equal opportunity employer.

Formación

• 6–8 years of enterprise Microsoft infra admin/engineering experience.
• Experience administering Microsoft 365, Azure Government, and Entra in a Federal or equivalent enterprise.
• Experience with Intune and Defender for Endpoint.
• Experience implementing Zero Trust across Microsoft platforms.
• Experience in Federal or private-sector enterprise of comparable scale and security posture.
• Ability to independently resolve complex, cross-domain Microsoft infra issues.
• Experience with FedRAMP-authorized Microsoft services and Federal security requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Administer and engineer Microsoft 365 environment (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams).
• Lead service updates, rollouts, and ITIL 4 change management.
• Monitor service health, performance, and security; address issues proactively.
• Develop configuration standards, policies, and governance for Microsoft platforms.
• License management coordination with Asset/Financial Management.
• Stay current with Microsoft 365 roadmap and security requirements.
• Administer Azure Government (Entra ID, CA policies, identity governance, PIM).
• Lead Entra identity services integration (IAL2, MFA, SSO).
• Support Zero Trust Architecture implementation across Microsoft platforms.
• Manage Azure subscriptions, RBAC, and policy enforcement.
• Coordinate with Infrastructure team on Azure workloads.
• Support FedRAMP compliance for Azure Government.
