Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a seasoned Microservices Architect to lead the design and evolution of large-scale microservices ecosystems built on modern container platforms and cloud-native technology stacks.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on architectural leadership across complex transformations, with a clear point of view on when microservices are the right answer, how to evolve them safely, and how to keep the estate maintainable over the long term.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• 12+ years of software engineering experience with architecture experience.
• Deep expertise in microservices design, DDD, and distributed systems patterns.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, container orchestration, and service mesh technologies.
• Proficiency in Java, Go, or C# for backend systems.
• Strong API design, event-driven architectures, and asynchronous messaging.

Responsibilities

• Define microservices architecture standards and service boundaries using DDD principles.
• Modernize legacy monoliths into independently deployable services with clear ownership.
• Design service communication patterns using REST, gRPC, asynchronous messaging, and event streaming.
• Establish API contracts, schema governance, and versioning strategies.
• Architect resilient distributed systems with circuit breakers, retries, bulkheads, and graceful degradation.
• Define data ownership models and patterns like outbox, saga, and CQRS where appropriate.
