Job summary

The role audits CPT and ICD-10, ensures compliance with CMS/state guidelines, and provides training to providers and staff. It operates remotely with on-site education when needed.

Ideal candidates will have 2+ years in professional fee coding, CPC/CCA/CCS/COC/RHIT/RHIA credentials, and strong communication skills. LEAN experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Two years or more prior experience in professional fee coding required.
• Knowledge of multiple coding specialties preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review CPT and ICD-10 codes for compliance with CMS guidelines.
• Lead coding team to meet productivity and quality standards.
• Provide education and training to providers and staff.
• Assist in denials management and audit activities.
• Coordinate with supervisor and participate in testing and LEAN initiatives.
