Job summary

Encore Semi, Inc. is seeking a Sr Mechanical Engineer focused on Cable & Harness Design for 100% remote work anywhere in the US. You will design, route, document, and manage complex wire harnesses with PTC Creo and Windchill within strict configuration management processes.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in harness design, strong CAD skills with Creo, and familiarity with ASME Y14 and IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards. A BS or MS in mechanical engineering is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of direct experience in cable and wire harness mechanical design.
• Proficiency with PTC Creo (Parametric and Cabling extensions).
• Experience operating in formal CM/PLM environments.
• Familiarity with ASME Y14 drafting standards and IPC/WHMA-A-620.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design and 3D routing of cable harnesses and interconnect assemblies.
• Document and manage lifecycle of harnesses per CM/PLM workflows.
• Ensure designs meet industry standards and electrical interfaces.
