Job summary

Dexian seeks an experienced technical lead for IBM Maximo upgrades and modernization in a remote role. You will provide hands-on architecture, configuration, customization, and integration support for Maximo 7.5/7.6 and MAS 9 in enterprise environments.

Lead multi-project efforts, design migration plans, and ensure secure, scalable deployments while collaborating with global teams and vendors. Fluent English, strong communication, and proven leadership in asset-management systems are required.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience implementing enterprise asset management systems, with hands-on IBM Maximo 7.5/7.6.
• Experience with IBM Maximo Application Suite 9, including architecture and deployment.
• Advanced knowledge of Maximo Integration Framework and related integrations.
• Led Maximo upgrade, migration, re-platforming, or modernization projects.
• Experience migrating enterprise apps between virtualization platforms (VMware to Hyper-V).
• Experience supporting Oracle database upgrades or migrations in enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of WebSphere, IBM HTTP Server, Java-based apps, databases, middleware, networking, and security.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for concurrent Maximo upgrade, migration, and modernization projects.
• Lead technical resource for Maximo 7.5/7.6 and MAS 9 environments.
• Hands-on support for Maximo architecture, configuration, customization, integration, and deployment.
• Design migration and upgrade plans for Maximo 7.5 to 7.6 and MAS 9.
• Oversee infrastructure migrations across VMware, Hyper-V, or other hosts.
• Assess components to identify risks, dependencies, and remediation needs.
• Translate requirements into practical technical designs and deployment procedures.
• Produce architecture diagrams, configuration docs, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Coordinate activities across development, infrastructure, database, security, and vendor teams.
• Communicate complex issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.
