Job summary

Jobgether seeks a Senior Manufacturing Engineer based in the United States. You will define how custom mechanical components are manufactured, evaluated, and priced, combining engineering acumen with cost analysis and DFx methods.

This role involves mentoring teams, improving standards, and driving cross-functional collaboration in a remote-first setup. You will lead feasibility reviews, develop quotes, create cost calculators, and provide manufacturing guidance across processes like sheet

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent training.
• 5–10 years of relevant experience in manufacturing engineering, costing, DFM, or custom mechanical hardware development.
• Hands-on experience with multiple custom manufacturing processes (sheet metal fabrication, urethane casting, injection molding).
• Experience with CNC machining and 3D printing; strong GD&T knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Review release packages and CAD models to assess manufacturability, scope, and lead times.
• Develop accurate quotes by combining engineering analysis with platform recommendations and supplier coordination.
• Create cost calculators to support in-house quoting for new services.
• Provide DFM/DFA recommendations to improve designs and reduce production costs.
• Share feedback with quoting software team to improve automated quoting.
