Avispa Technology is seeking a Senior Manager, Commercial Analytics and Data Science for a 6-month assignment (with potential extension) supporting a leading music streaming company. You will lead analytics and ML efforts to optimize media spend, improve app engagement, and drive subscriber retention. Remote work in the United States is acceptable, with preference for New York and D.C.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, or Computer Science.
• 5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist.
• Excellent programming skills in SQL, Python, and R.
• Experience building marketing mix models.
• Experience with paid media incrementality measurement/testing.
• Background in subscription or e-commerce businesses.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies and BI dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Build marketing mix models to estimate incremental ROI of marketing channels and optimize spend.
• Design and measure paid media incrementality tests using geo-experiments.
• Support testing of marketing initiatives to drive app engagement and subscriber retention.
• Build machine learning models to predict outcomes for marketing tactics and create dashboards/web apps for monitoring.
• Develop SQL queries for feature engineering and test analysis; create reusable Python libraries.
• Present results and recommendations to business partners and collaborate with engineering to productionize models.
