Upstart is seeking a Senior Manager, Home Lending Servicing Operations to define and execute the servicing strategy as the Home Lending business scales. You will oversee outsourced servicing partners, build a long-term operating model, and partner across functions to enhance borrower experience and compliance.

You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, Risk, Compliance, Finance and Investor Services to drive efficiencies, implement automation, and improve servicing quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years in residential mortgage servicing operations.
• 4+ years leading managers and operational teams.
• Experience managing outsourced mortgage servicing vendors or BPO relationships.
• Experience developing servicing operating models, processes, and vendor governance.
• Expertise in mortgage servicing functions: payment processing, interest, escrow, payoff, draws.
• Experience partnering with Risk/Compliance/Finance/Investor Services/Capital Markets.

Responsabilités

• Define and execute the operational strategy for Home Lending Servicing Operations.
• Oversee outsourced servicing partners and governance routines.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to design servicing capabilities and automation.
• Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, Investor Services, Finance, Legal, and Capital Markets.
• Use performance metrics to identify trends and drive improvements in payment processing and escrow.
• Provide SME on mortgage servicing processes including payoff and draw calculations.
• Develop controls, reporting, and vendor governance to mitigate risk and improve outcomes.
• Lead and develop operations leaders with a culture of accountability and improvement.
