Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a Financial Analysis Senior Manager to lead the auction finance function across assigned locations. You will partner with Auction Leadership and the center finance team to drive financial performance and strategic insights.

The role emphasizes developing the team, delivering accurate monthly/annual results, and working with cross-functional partners to optimize processes and costs. Remote-ready with preference for IL, MN, WI based candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting with 8+ years of business experience.
• 8+ years in financial planning (budget/forecast), financial analysis and modeling.
• MBA and/or CPA preferred; Master’s degree with 6+ years experience is acceptable.
• Strong knowledge of financial concepts and advanced Excel with pivot tables.

Responsibilities

• Lead the assigned Auction Finance team and provide regular communication to Auction Leadership and center finance.
• Develop the team and ensure high levels of employee engagement.
• Prepare and review consolidated monthly and annual financial results for leadership.
• Build relationships across Sales, Marketing, Credit & Collections, Operations, and Admin.
• Provide thought leadership and financial analysis to identify operational efficiencies and cost improvements.
• Analyze trends and variances; partner with Senior Management to improve results.
• Assist in forecasts, budgets and long-term financial plans; create driver-based models for Auctions.
• Develop business cases for new investments and foster a culture of evaluation.
• Stay current on best practices and finance-related technologies; collaborate across Cox.
• Develop and maintain effective stakeholder relationships and ensure service levels from Finance.
