Job summary

Optain is seeking a Senior Manager, Customer & Commercial Operations to own US customer operations, from hardware deployment to contract execution. You will build the US service function from the ground up, manage ordering and inventory with manufacturing partners, and scale the contracting process for a fast-growing healthcare AI platform.

The role requires hands-on operations experience in hardware logistics and commercial contracting, with startup exposure and comfort operating in a regulated

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in business or operations roles with hands-on ownership of hardware logistics or contract management
• Startup experience in Series A/B environment preferred
• Experience in regulated industries (medical device/health tech) is a strong plus

Responsibilities

• Own the camera supply chain from factory to activated device, forecast demand and manage the manufacturing partner
• Stand up US service function from scratch: repairs, replacements, and loaners, ensuring uptime for health system customers
• Run commercial contracting: draft, redline, and drive agreements to signature; design contract structures for health systems, provider groups, and independent practices
• Draft internal policies and SOPs to close operational gaps; build automation with AI tooling to scale workflows
