Lumen, a trusted network for AI-powered workloads, seeks a Senior Linux Systems Administrator to design, build, secure Linux-based infrastructure for a classified federal program. You will handle VMware, KVM virtualization, authentication services, vulnerability management, and CI/CD integration.

Remote within the U.S.; travel 5-20% for on-site support. You will implement automation with Ansible, Python, and GitLab CI/CD, and maintain monitoring with Zabbix and Elastic Stack, supporting

Formación

• Six or more years of Linux systems, infrastructure, network, security, or platform administration.
• Advanced administration with Ubuntu and RHEL.
• Strong CLI proficiency and Bash scripting.
• Experience designing production infrastructure from the ground up.
• Hands-on VMware ESXi, vCenter, and vSphere administration.

Responsabilidades

• Design and build secure Linux infrastructure from requirements to production.
• Install, configure, patch, and harden Ubuntu and RHEL systems.
• Administer VMware ESXi, vCenter, and vSphere environments.
• Develop automation with Ansible, Bash, and Python; use Git/GitLab CI/CD.
• Support Flask or Django apps; integrate REST APIs across systems.
• Maintain Nessus-based vulnerability management and monitoring with Zabbix/Elastic Stack.
