HITACHI ENERGY USA INC in the United States seeks a Senior Legal Counsel to support its North American operations. You will provide comprehensive legal guidance across business, commercial, risk, and compliance matters, and work with leadership across regions to align strategies with corporate governance.

• J.D. and bar admission to practice law in the United States (state of licensure)
• Minimum 8 years of experience providing legal counsel in corporate/commercial matters
• Significant experience with product liability matters and commercial litigation preferred

Responsabilidades

• Provide legal advice across a broad range of business matters and disputes
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements across units
• Conduct risk reviews and support risk management activities
• Identify emerging legal issues and develop practical strategies
• Support corporate governance and Code of Conduct implementation
• Coordinate outside counsel to ensure efficient legal services
• Deliver legal training and awareness programs for employees
• Monitor laws and policies to protect business interests and reputation
• Ensure compliance with external and internal regulations
