Job summary

Aspire General Insurance Company and its affiliated general agent, Aspire General Insurance Services, are seeking a Senior Lead Auditor to plan, lead, and execute complex internal audits across Property & Casualty operations, financial reporting, and third-party oversight. This role requires strong leadership and expertise in IIA standards, COSO, and MAR.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Professional certifications such as CPA, CIA, CISA, CRMA, or CFE preferred or obtainable within timeframe.
• Comprehensive knowledge of internal auditing standards (IIA), COSO, MAR, SOX and insurance regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute operational, financial, compliance, and vendor audits per the Internal Audit Plan.
• Develop risk-based audit programs, scope, objectives, and testing procedures based on IIA and COSO.
• Assess compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and MAR/NAIC rules.
• Evaluate internal controls over financial reporting, including MAR and SOX.
• Mentor staff and provide guidance to auditors while ensuring independence.
