Aspire General Insurance is seeking a Senior Lead IT Auditor to join our Internal Audit team in New Jersey. This high-visibility role provides direct exposure to executive IT leadership and external auditors and focuses on IT risk, compliance, and financial system audits.

Ideal candidates bring deep ITGC, SOX, and MAR testing expertise, strong leadership, and the ability to mentor junior staff. Hybrid work in a modern New Jersey office is available, with significant collaboration across business

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, accounting, finance, CS, cybersecurity, or IT-related field.
• Active CISA certification required.
• 8–10+ years of progressive IT audit, technology risk, SOX, MAR, or related assurance experience.
• Experience leading audit engagements and technical audit teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead SOX and MAR ITGC audits including access controls, change management, and segregation of duties.
• Conduct annual IT risk assessments and define regulatory audit scope.
• Lead audits of major ERP and financial systems implementations.
• Evaluate control deficiencies, develop findings, and validate remediation actions.
• Develop and maintain IT Risk Control Matrices, audit programs, and testing procedures.
• Mentor IA team members and provide technical guidance on complex technology audits.
