Job summary

Nexgen Enterprises is seeking a Senior Land Survey Drafter to manage client communications, coordinate outsourced drafting tasks, and ensure timely and accurate project delivery. This role balances technical surveying knowledge with strong organizational and vendor-management skills.

The Senior Drafter will oversee scope, quality, and schedule across multiple projects, driving efficiency and profitability while maintaining strict attention to detail and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or associate degree in surveying, geomatics, or related field preferred.
• Significant CAD-based survey production experience to audit outsourced work and provide guidance.
• 1–5+ years in a coordination or management role within land surveying.
• Strong communication to manage client expectations and vendor relationships.

Responsibilities

• Customer consultation and quoting: scope project requirements and provide estimates and timelines.
• Vendor management: coordinate due diligence partners and remote drafting teams.
• QA/QC oversight: review deliverables from outsourced teams for standards and regulations.
• Technical liaison: translate client requests into instructions for drafting teams.
• Schedule and budget tracking: monitor progress and ensure project margins.
