Job summary

NexGen Surveying, LLC is seeking a Senior Land Survey Drafter (remote, hybrid, or in-office at West Palm Beach, FL) to lead client coordination and manage outsourced drafting partners. You will ensure accurate scoping, on-time delivery, QA/QC, and project profitability by balancing technical surveying knowledge with strong communication and vendor management.

Candidates should have CAD-based drafting experience (AutoCAD Civil 3D or Carlson), and 1–5+ years of project coordination in land

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or associate degree in surveying, geomatics, or related field.
• Significant CAD-based survey production experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D or Carlson.
• Experience coordinating vendors and external drafting teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary client contact; scope requirements and provide cost estimates.
• Manage outsourced research and drafting partners; oversee scheduling and data delivery.
• QA/QC of deliverables from external teams before client delivery.
• Translate client needs into clear drafting instructions for teams.
