Job summary

Highmark Health is seeking an experienced storage specialist to join our IT Storage team in supporting design, development, and maintenance of technical storage solutions across the enterprise.

You will analyze, implement, monitor, backup, disaster recovery, and collaborate with IT, product, analytics, and business stakeholders to meet enterprise goals, while mentoring junior engineers and ensuring quality and security practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5+ years in designing, implementing, and supporting storage solutions.
• Experience with data backup, recovery, and DR testing.
• Familiarity with cloud storage services (GCP/Azure/AWS).

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, test, implement, and automate storage solutions.
• Provide production monitoring and capacity management.
• Assist in backup, DR, and cyber recovery testing.
• Collaborate with IT, product, analytics and business to gather requirements.
• Mentor junior engineers as needed.
