Zusammenfassung

Grafana Labs is hiring for a remote, mobile observability SDK engineer to build and evolve iOS and Android SDKs. You will work on high-performance code and OpenTelemetry integrations, collaborating across backend, frontend, and product teams to enable unified observability.

You will own projects end-to-end, mentor teammates, and contribute to roadmaps in a globally distributed, remote-first environment. Spanish, Irish, German, UK, or Swedish applicants are welcome.

Qualifikationen

• Strong mobile engineering experience with iOS and Android.
• Experience building or maintaining mobile SDKs, platform libraries, or other developer-facing code.
• Experience with performance-sensitive code (startup time, memory, network efficiency).
• Familiarity with OpenTelemetry or contributing to telemetry libraries.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work in a fully remote, globally distributed team.
• Coachable, customer-focused, and capable of shaping roadmaps.

Aufgaben

• Build and evolve mobile instrumentation SDKs for iOS (Swift/Obj-C).
• Design and ship SDK features such as session tracking, crash reporting, sampling strategies, and OpenTelemetry integrations.
• Own projects end-to-end and break large problems into incremental deliverables.
• Collaborate across backend, frontend, product, and solutions engineering for end-to-end observability workflows.
• Mentor teammates and contribute to technical design discussions.
