Grafana Labs is a fully remote company building Grafana Cloud, an observability platform used by thousands of organizations globally. This mobile SDK role focuses on iOS/Android instrumentation, OpenTelemetry integrations, and end-to-end ownership of SDK projects.

You will work with a distributed team, contribute to open-source projects, and help ship high-performance mobile telemetry. Compensation is country-specific with RSUs and a 30-day annual leave policy.

Qualificações

• Strong mobile engineering experience with iOS and Android.
• Experience building or maintaining mobile SDKs used by external developers.
• Familiarity with OpenTelemetry or contributing to telemetry libraries.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration in a distributed team.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and deliver iteratively.

Responsabilidades

• Build and evolve mobile instrumentation SDKs for iOS (Swift/Obj-C).
• Design and ship SDK features such as session tracking, crash reporting, sampling strategies, automatic context propagation, and OpenTelemetry integrations.
• Own projects end-to-end.
• Break large, ambiguous problems into incremental deliverables and ship MVPs.
• Ensure quality through automated tests, CI, documentation, and backwards-compatible upgrades.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with backend, frontend, product, and solutions engineering.
• Engage with the open-source community: review PRs, discuss designs, guide external contributors.
• Mentor teammates and contribute to technical roadmaps.
