Job summary

Prodapt is seeking a senior mobile/frontend engineer to join a versatile team. You will develop iOS front-end features using Swift/SwiftUI and Angular, implement push notifications, location services, and secure data handling with Keychain.

You will test with XCTest, and collaborate on architecture, code documentation, and integrations with Firebase, Kibana, and Contentful. Remote work is allowed in the U.S., with travel to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or IS with 6 years progressive software experience.
• 6 years in iOS development using Swift, UIKit, SwiftUI and Swift Concurrency.
• 6 years of iOS app architecture, performance profiling and testing with Instruments and XCTest.
• 6 years of APNs/UI notifications, Push Kit/VoIP and UI tests.
• 6 years of Core Location/MapKit, WebKit and Local Authentication (Face ID/Touch ID).
• 6 years with WidgetKit Live Activities, SiriKit or App Intents.
• 6 years with CloudKit and Core Data or SwiftData, Angular Router.
• 6 years with HttpClient, RxJS, Angular Material, NgRx, Service Worker and Angular Animations.
• 6 years with Azure DevOps Boards and Pipelines for work item tracking and CI/CD.
• 6 years with Contentful headless CMS via REST/GraphQL.
• Travel up to 10% domestically to client sites; relocation possible.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and analyze requirements to determine developmental feasibility.
• Propose solutions using MVC and MVVM architectures to address problems.
• Develop front end using Cocoa, SwiftUI, UIKit, Angular and Ionic.
• Write unit tests with XCTest to ensure stability.
• Ensure responsive UI across devices (mobile, tablet, laptop).
• Implement device-specific features like push notifications and location data.
• Develop UI components as plug-and-play modules using Xibs/storyboards/Swift modules.
• Integrate analytics with third-party libraries and custom code.
• Document code and architecture with comments, diagrams and wiki pages.
• Remote work allowed from anywhere in the U.S.; ~10% travel to client sites.
