Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an Incident Response Senior Manager to lead the defense against cybersecurity incidents and orchestrate cross-functional response efforts. You will triage, command, and drive containment and remediation while communicating clearly with stakeholders and executives.

You will collaborate with SOC, forensics, legal and client teams, guiding incident governance and ensuring high-quality outcomes in a remote US-based role.

Qualifications

• Experience managing cybersecurity incidents and leading response teams.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams during crises.
• Strong written and verbal communication with executives.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end incident response activities and guide War Room operations.
• Provide autonomous decision-making for containment and escalation during high-severity incidents.
• Coordinate across SOC, forensics, DLP, cloud security, legal, and client teams.
