Job summary

Relevate Power is seeking a Regulatory Compliance Specialist to oversee FERC regulatory requirements for hydropower and renewable energy projects. Reporting to the Regulatory and Compliance Manager, you will coordinate and implement procedures to ensure adherence to regulatory standards with a focus on accuracy and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Legal/Regulatory Studies, Public Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in hydropower regulatory compliance.
• Experience with project management, FERC regulations, and stakeholder coordination.

Responsibilities

• Regulatory Compliance - Monitor and ensure compliance with FERC and other agency requirements for hydropower projects.
• Documentation and Reporting - Maintain records and submit regulatory filings, reports, and responses.
• Stakeholder Engagement - Interface with regulators and stakeholders for asset-related requirements.
• Regulatory Coordination - Provide oversight for projects in Maine and New England sub-regions; track notices and audits.
• Travel up to 25%; maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Must be located in the Northeast.
