Job summary

CAI is seeking a Senior HR Data Analyst to drive complex HR reporting, analytics, dashboard development, and automation. The role focuses on transforming manual reporting into efficient, scalable processes using Excel, Power BI, and AI-enabled tools.

The position is contract-based and remote, ideal for a data-driven professional with 8+ years of experience and a proven ability to automate workflows and deliver actionable insights to business leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems/MIS, Statistics, or similar quantitative field.
• 8+ years of related professional experience in data analytics, advanced reporting, reporting automation and process improvement.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, macros, conditional formatting, data manipulation, and automation tools.
• Experience developing dashboards and visualizations using Power BI, Excel, or similar tools.
• Experience using AI or automation technologies to improve data analysis or business processes.
• Ability to identify opportunities to simplify and automate reporting processes for efficiency and accuracy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Experience handling complex datasets and reporting processes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve HR reporting using advanced Excel features (formulas, pivot tables, macros, conditional formatting).
• Transform and automate complex Excel-based reporting processes to reduce manual effort.
• Develop dashboards and visualizations to provide leaders with clear insights into trends.
• Translate data into meaningful information using Power BI and Excel.
• Document reporting workflows with step-by-step procedures and update as processes evolve.
• Work independently in a project-based setting while managing priorities and delivering solutions.
