Job summary

Centene Corporation is seeking a skilled Senior Data Analyst to translate Medicare Advantage and Medicaid Risk Adjustment requirements into production-grade SAS/SQL solutions. You will modernize SAS ETL workflows to Snowflake, integrate diverse healthcare datasets, and ensure data quality for CMS audits and Medicaid requirements.

The role collaborates with Risk Adjustment stakeholders, IT, and vendor teams, delivering ad-hoc reports and scalable data assets. Remote/hybrid options may apply.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in SQL

Responsibilities

• Develop ad-hoc reports to conduct data analysis and validation.
• Partners with business analysts, Risk Adjustment stakeholders, IT, and vendor teams to translate requirements into SAS solutions and Snowflake capabilities.
• Conducts business analysis and recommends technical alternatives to management.
• Automates processing and improves SAS code for Encounter Risk Adjustment workflows with future Snowflake migration support.
• Creates multi-user, real-time database solutions by integrating healthcare datasets.
• Acts as SME to convert business requirements into system analyses and documentation.
• Modernizes legacy SAS ETL workflows into scalable Snowflake architecture using Snowflake SQL and Snowpark Python.
• Implements validation and data quality frameworks to support CMS audit standards and state Medicaid requirements.
• Builds reusable SAS, SQL, and Snowflake assets and documentation to speed development.
