Job summary

Valenz Health is seeking a Senior Analyst to work remotely from the US, focusing on medical and pharmacy claims data to build data products that support pricing, quality, and compliance tools. You’ll transform datasets with SQL and Python, respond to client inquiries, and collaborate across analytics teams to deliver insights and improvements.

You’ll contribute to production data extracts, monitor data quality, and help advance organizational goals in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of data analysis experience, including at least 3 years working with healthcare claims data and complex, incomplete datasets.
• Proficient in SQL and Python with experience in data workflows and analytics tools.
• Ability to resolve data issues, respond to client inquiries, and translate data into actionable insights.
• Strong attention to detail and data quality assurance.

Responsibilities

• Analyze medical and pharmacy claims to develop and maintain data products for pricing, quality, and compliance.
• Apply advanced queries to resolve data issues and support client inquiries.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering and Analytics teams to design and deploy complex code and workflows.
• Monitor data quality and performance, and drive improvements across analytics tools and documentation.
