Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. (AJG) is seeking a Senior Claims Specialist for Healthcare Professional Liability - Long Term Care.

This role manages moderately complex claims through the full life cycle, conducts coverage analysis, and negotiates settlements with clients and attorneys. A bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of related claims experience are required, with licensure in applicable states or the ability to obtain it.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years related claims experience.
• Licensed/certified in states where claims are handled or able to obtain licenses.
• Knowledge of industry standards and practices.
• Computer experience with related claims and business software.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes coverage and settles moderately complex Healthcare Professional Liability - Long Term Care claims.
• Manages full life cycle of assigned claims files.
• Negotiates settlements with clients, client attorneys, and Public Adjusters.
• Prepares reserve and settlement authority requests for client and carrier approval.
• Acts as client advocate with carriers to ensure proper claims handling.
