Job summary

Docker, Inc is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Growth to join a remote-first team focused on growth experiments and CX across Docker products. You will craft high-quality code for frontend (React/JS) and backend (Go/Python), instrument signals, and drive measurable business outcomes like activation and retention.

You’ll partner with Product, Design, Marketing, and PLG to run fast, data-informed experiments.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in software engineering with growth/experimentation exposure.
• BS/BA in CS, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Strong JS/TS and React for frontend, Go/Python for backend.
• Hands-on with A/B tests and feature flags in production.
• Experience with analytics tools (Adobe Target/Looker/Unleash).
• Full-stack comfort across frontend and backend.
• Familiarity with data warehouses like Snowflake or Redshift.
• Exposure to AI solutions and data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship growth-focused user experiences across Docker products.
• Design and run end-to-end growth experiments from idea to analysis.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Marketing, and Ops to move metrics.
• Write production-grade code across frontend, backend, and cloud services.
• Leverage A/B testing frameworks and in-app engagement tools.
• Share outcomes and recommendations with stakeholders.
• Potential on-call rotation outside business hours as needed.
