Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Construction Project Manager for WWGS, Enterprise Team. You will own large-scale remodel programs across regions, leading quality, scheduling, and budgets from preconstruction through closeout in operating stores.

The role requires 75-80% travel and remote work by design, with strong cross-functional coordination across Design, Operations, Equipment, Refrigeration, and Commissioning to maintain safety and customer experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial analysis and budgeting for large-scale remodels.
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations for multiple regions.
• Bachelor's degree with 6+ years in Construction PM; PMP or equivalent is a plus.
• 3+ years using construction and project management tools (e.g., Procore, Smartsheet, Bluebeam, MS Project).
• Experience executing major remodels within active grocery/retail store environments.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Project Delivery for enterprise-scale remodels in operating stores.
• Autonomous execution with minimal oversight over scope, schedule, and budget.
• Apply enterprise standards while adapting to local jurisdictional requirements.
• Coordinate across Design, Operations, Equipment, Refrigeration, and Commissioning teams.
• Monitor MEP systems, refrigeration infra, and construction standards for quality and efficiency.
• Stakeholder management with internal partners, GCs, and authorities.
• Value engineering to optimize costs while preserving brand standards.
• Ensure phased construction minimizes disruption to store operations.
• Manage change orders, RFIs, contracts, and permitting.
