Job summary

HireLatam is seeking a Remote Senior Software Engineer to build Go microservices for real-time data ingestion. You will migrate Python Lambda functions to Go and deploy on EKS with serverless infrastructure, collaborating with hardware sensors and third-party APIs.

You will work with AWS services (Lambda, ECS, Cognito, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, CloudWatch) and maintain CI/CD pipelines. 4–5 years in a similar role required; remote from Latin America, full-time with Central Time business hours.

Qualifications

• 4-5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Go: concurrency patterns, WebSockets, building production microservices.
• Python: read, debug, and migrate existing Lambda functions.
• AWS: Lambda, ECS, Cognito, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, CloudWatch.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Go microservices for real-time sensor data ingestion and processing.
• Migrate existing Python Lambda functions to Go.
• Deploy and manage services on EKS (Kubernetes) and serverless infrastructure.
• Integrate with hardware sensors and third-party APIs.
• Debug production issues across distributed systems.
• Write tests and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).
