Job summary

Yum! Brands Information Security & Cyber Incident Response Engineer is sought to protect enterprise assets on a global scale. You will lead investigations across endpoints, servers, networks, and cloud, coordinating containment and remediation with cross-functional teams.

The role requires after-hours on-call rotation and extended hours, including nights and weekends. This is a remote position with international scope, offering a dynamic, enterprise-level security environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security or related field.
• 5+ years of cybersecurity experience with hands-on incident response.
• Industry certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CompTIA CySA+, GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH).
• Knowledge of incident response processes (detection, triage, remediation, and reporting).
• Knowledge of Linux, Mac, and Windows administration and usage.
• Knowledge of cloud environments (Azure and AWS) and security controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical investigations across endpoints, servers, networks, cloud environments, identities, apps to identify assets, data, IOC, and root cause.
• Coordinate containment, eradication, and remediation activities including isolation, credential resets, malware removal, and remediation.
• Maintain incident timelines and document findings, decisions, actions, and evidence throughout the lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Security Operations, Threat Intelligence, Digital Forensics, and other teams to coordinate response.
• Serve as Incident Response Lead for complex, high-severity incidents and coordinate multi-workstream responses.
• Develop and improve incident response playbooks, procedures, and automation based on lessons learned.
