Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in computer science, information security or related field.
• 5+ years of cybersecurity experience with incident response or security operations.
• Industry certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CompTIA CySA+, GIAC GCIH are preferred.
• Knowledge of incident response processes and reporting.
• Familiarity with Linux, Mac, and Windows administration.
• Experience with Azure and AWS cloud environments.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical investigation activities across endpoints, servers, networks, cloud environments, identities, applications, and other enterprise platforms to identify affected assets and root cause.
• Coordinate containment, eradication, and remediation activities; perform endpoint isolation and credential resets as needed.
• Maintain a comprehensive incident timeline and document findings, decisions, actions, and evidence throughout the lifecycle.
• Partner with Security Operations, Threat Intelligence, Digital Forensics, and other teams to coordinate investigation and response.
• Serve as Incident Response Lead for complex, high-severity incidents, coordinating workstreams and escalation to leadership.
• Apply threat intelligence to reconstruct attack paths and inform containment strategies.
• Lead incident response exercises and post-incident reviews to improve playbooks and tooling.
• Mentor junior engineers on investigation methodologies and escalation procedures.
