Job summary

Natera is seeking a Senior Bioinformatics & Genomics Data System Engineer within the DSPE DevOps group to design, develop, deploy, and maintain data systems, cloud platforms, and automation for production environments.

The role emphasizes Python workflows, AWS services, and scalable architectures to support high-throughput genomics data processing. Remote USA-based with strong collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, software eng, bioinformatics or related field (advanced degrees preferred).
• 6+ years experience with Bachelor's; 3+ with Master's; 2+ with Doctorate in relevant industry.
• 3+ years experience in highly regulated environments (e.g., CLIA/FDA).
• 3+ years in Software Eng or DevOps teams producing production tools/systems.

Responsibilities

• Deliver software tools and systems with robust functionality.
• Design, test, deploy, validate, maintain DSPE software and data/cloud/automation systems.
• Create architecture/design docs with leadership; monitor performance metrics.
• Train DSPE team on new technologies and participate in stakeholder meetings.
