Job summary

Natera is seeking a Manager of the Data Engineering & Delivery team within the DSPE department to lead data infrastructure and delivery for Lab Operations and Genetic Counselor teams. You will manage a team handling ultra-large datasets, translate business needs into scalable designs, and ensure robust data products and delivery systems.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Bioinformatics, CS, Math, or related fields; doctorates a plus.
• Minimal 5 years in industry with Master's; 2+ years with Doctorate.
• Experience in regulated settings (e.g., CLIA, FDA).
• 2+ years of leadership managing data engineering/delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead a Data Engineering & Delivery team to develop data infrastructure, ingestion solutions, ETL pipelines, data products, and delivery systems.
• Translate business needs into technical specifications and implementation plans.
• Create design docs for data architectures and pipelines; contribute to development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Mentor team members on new technologies and best practices; ensure compliance and training.
