Job summary
Constellation West is seeking a Sr. Full Stack Developer/Platform Engineer to support the IRS MISSS, focusing on Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, and ReactJS.
You will drive modernization efforts, migrate applications to containerized OpenShift deployments, and contribute to secure, scalable solutions remote from the US with occasional onsite support. Qualifications
- 5+ years of Java/J2EE and Spring Boot development and sustainment experience.
- Experience with ReactJS or comparable UI technology.
- Experience migrating VM-based hosting to containerized/OpenShift deployments while preserving interfaces.
- Familiarity with OpenShift/Kubernetes, REST/SOAP, and build/deploy pipelines.
- Bachelor's degree in or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop and sustain Java/J2EE applications using Spring Boot.
- Integrate ReactJS-based UI with backend services and secure coding practices.
- Migrate and modernize applications from VM hosting to containerized OpenShift deployments.
- Troubleshoot production issues and support releases with rollback capabilities.
- Collaborate with teams on API gateways, CI/CD, and security requirements.
