Job summary

RTX is seeking a Principal Business Programming Technologist to join the PROsolutions Integrated Applications service line. This remote U.S. role focuses on building scalable finance and operations solutions, partnering with business stakeholders and end users to deliver quick-turn value.

You will design and implement solutions, work with ETL processes, and collaborate with BPs to enhance key financial and manufacturing workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Business or relevant degree, plus 5+ years of related work experience.
• 4+ years of development experience writing software for client/server and/or web applications.
• 4+ years of business experience building solutions for Finance, Operations or Integrated Supply Chain, with familiarity with data warehousing and ETL software.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with multitasking in a fast-paced environment and expert-level proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Team player willing to support all members of the team and empathize with the user community and BPs.

Responsibilities

• Designing, coding, testing and implementing creative and effective solutions for Finance, Operations, and Integrated Supply Chain functions.
• Monitoring and troubleshooting weekly scheduled production ETL processes.
• Planning and facilitating SME group meetings to foster a strong partnership with the end-user community.
• Effectively communicating process/product changes to the BP team and end user consumers.
• Documenting and prioritizing business partner service and product enhancement requests.
• Ad hoc research, break fixes and ticket support for user community.
