Job summary

Horizon3.ai is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join the Autonomous Defensive team. You will build the platform that NodeZero’s defensive agents run on, delivering end-to-end runtime, UI, and data tooling across thousands of tenants.

You’ll collaborate with AI researchers and security engineers to move capabilities from prototype to production, upholding security, observability, and multi-tenant isolation while owning end-to-end workflows from orchestration to front-end interfaces.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 7+ yrs professional software engineering experience using modern languages (Python, Go, Scala, TypeScript, etc).
• Proven experience delivering backend APIs, especially GraphQL, and consuming them from a modern web stack.
• Production experience with React, TypeScript, and modern CSS layout for complex workflows.
• Experience on cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) using Docker/Kubernetes.
• Expert proficiency in SQL.
• Experience designing and operating distributed systems in production, including asynchronous workflows and retries.
• Track record of shipping and operating production services, including on-call ownership.

Responsibilities

• Build and own the agent execution runtime: long-running workflows with checkpointing and idempotent steps.
• Design and implement a multi-tenant tool layer with per-tenant authorization.
• Build connector framework for security control planes (EDR, firewalls, SIEM, cloud IAM).
• Implement safe-change pipeline with dry-run, approvals, rollout, rollback and audit trail.
• Build the operator-facing frontend in React and TypeScript.
• Develop ETL and GraphQL support for agent context and run history.
• Instrument with distributed tracing and cost accounting; ensure observability.
