Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a senior software engineer to design and implement full-stack features for its Specialty Networks and Commercial Technologies platform. You will build data-rich interfaces, RESTful services, and AI-enabled capabilities in a regulated healthcare setting.

The role offers remote flexibility with proximity to Dublin, OH or Cleveland, OH offices, and potential technical leadership of a small team. Strong Azure experience is valued.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of full-stack development with C# and modern JS frameworks.
• Expert C# with ASP.NET Core, expert Angular and TypeScript.
• Proven technical lead experience guiding engineers and contractors.
• Strong RESTful API design and consumption experience.
• EF Core and SQL Server with occasional hand-written SQL for perf.
• Experience building data-driven, configurable feature logic.
• Data-forward interfaces: dashboards, reporting, search and filters.
• Hands-on Azure: App Services, Functions, Key Vault, Application Insights; Azure AD B2C/MSAL; and Azure DevOps.
• Security-conscious coding aligned with HIPAA and enterprise standards.
• Strong communicator, adaptable to ambiguity and collaborative problem-solver.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement full-stack functionality across web apps and services.
• Build dashboards and workflow tools used by clinicians and admins.
• Create configurable data-driven feature logic without code changes.
• Integrate AI/analytics features with explainability and traceability.
• Author reusable UI components and RESTful APIs with serverless support.
• Provide technical direction to a small team, including contract resources.
• Write secure code meeting HIPAA and security standards; contribute tests.
• Keep apps current with evolving frameworks; debug across the stack.
• Mentor developers, act as QA resource, and collaborate across teams.
